Culture:	Performs best in moderately moist, sandy, acidic, well-drained soils, but can be planted in most average soils provided adequate moisture is available, especially in the early years. Prefers a cold climate. Needs full sun or very light shade.
Description:	Although from the family of Norway Spruce, you would never know it. This small scale shrub is shaped like a bird's nest, hence the name. Formed from witch's broom, and grafted onto root stock, it is commonly used in both residential and commercial plantings.
Special Characteristics:	Bird's nest appearance makes this shrub ideal for use as a specimen.
