70-100' x 25'
|
| Culture: |
Easy to
transplant; performs best in moist, deep, well-drained, slightly
acidic soils; is not well adapted to chalky soils, although
appears more tolerant than Taxodium distichum; full sun; may
grow late into summer and early fall and could be damaged by
an early frost. |
|

Deciduous
conifer with feathery pyramidal growth habit and a strong central
leader. Leaves have comb-like appearance that are bright green
in spring changing to red/orange/brown in fall. |
| Special
Characteristics: |
Reddish
brown bark when young, becoming darker, fissured and exfoliating
